Herbaria Note Cards: The Pressed Plant Collection of Beatrix Farrand

Beatrix Farrand is a shining star in the constellation of twentieth-century garden designers. A devotee of Farrand and leisure gardener herself, Jan discovered Beatrix Farrand’s collection of approximately 2,000 plants from her Maine garden, archived in her herbarium at UC Berkeley. Selecting 12 pressed herbaria that were made into lovely notecards, Jan penned a short biography of Farrand to be enjoyed by gardeners and those who love them.
