Modern Fabric: Twenty-Five Designers on Their Inspiration and Craft

Conceiving a style book of contemporary fabric designers and their work, Jan introduced the idea Abby Gilchrist, the amazing founder and creative mastermind behind Fiddlehead Artisan Supply shop in Belfast, Maine, a destination for sewers and quilters. Abby partnered with creative textile artist Amelia Poole to co-author the book. Their first book, Jan guided Abby and Amelia through content and creative development, photo acquisitions and permissions, and bringing together the text and art to the final product—beautifully, on time, and on budget.
